The Red Pro Primes were the clear favorite among voters. The price point and performance make the Red Primes an excellent value. I decided to throw up another poll for fun: http://cinemalenses.com

Which RPP would you like to see produced next by the RED team?
Of course the 18mm is around the corner so I am referring to the other focal lengths that haven't been confirmed. I just saw a thread earlier from Jarred talking about a 14mm in the works..which is awesome news.

Other than the 18mm and 14mm, I would really like to see an 180mm or 200mm T1.9. After that a 135mm (T1.9). The current 25, 35, 50, 85 and 100 plus the upcoming 18 and 14mm cover a really nice range. For me the biggest hole would be a 180mm or 200mm..after that a 135mm. With the 100mm you can work with it and push in..but a 180mm/200mm is a significant jump. The other gap fillers like 65mm and 21mm are not as important to me.

What about Hawk, Van Diemen, S4, Ruby, Tokina/Duclos...just to name a few other options

It is funny just how many options now are now available to the customer, compared to just a few short years ago....

Just the fact that a 12 option poll is no longer long enough means nothing but good for customers :)

most feel good to influence such a large change in the playing field, ah Jarred?

I hope Scarlet 2/3" ,Ikonoscope DII and SI2K stimulate a similar market for new lenses for the smaller D-cine formats too.

yep, they might breathe new life into super 16mm lenses. In any event, with the nikon and canon adapters for scarlet/epic - you will have a plethora of choices not to mention Red's line of mini-red 2/3 format primes.

Pawel,
S4s are listed, and as for the ruby and tokina, those are zooms not primes.
Van Damien , since they don't make them anymore, is not really an option.
Hawks are great but the price point and format makes them stand on it's own. It's definitely not a shooter/owner kind of lens.

Cheers
