Hi all,
I've been holding onto these items for quite some time now, even though they've only been collecting dust (as evidenced in some of the pictures). When I first bought my camera, I picked up the base production pack (as did most), but ended up outfitting my camera with the ET/Arri base shortly thereafter, and kept the Red Bottom Plate as a backup...needless to say, the Red Bottom Plate has remained almost completely unused, aside from the very first days of building the camera and getting acquainted with it.
I also purchased the Allstar Red Dovetail (for use with the Red Bottom Plate), thinking it was a better solution for mounting the camera to a tripod than the shoulder dovetail. I'm sure anyone who's used both would quickly agree. Also, it makes switching from sticks to handheld a breeze, much faster than using the Red Cheeseplate. Because I've gone the ET/Arri route, the Allstar dovetail has also sat idle for nearly a year. Aside from a few small marks on the top and bottom from sliding the camera on and off, the Allstar dovetail is in LIKE NEW condition and works perfectly.
These items may be of use to someone who is just now in the process of buying their Red One...you could buy these items (largely the most expensive items found in the Base Production Pack) at a significant discount and piece together the remaining items left to buy (and possibly sidestep the purchase of the Red Cradle, which many are less than fond of). May also be of use to someone using the Red Bottom Plate in their system who need a backup or replacement.
I'm setting my asking prices rather low in hopes of moving these items, and in the process, helping someone get these pieces of equipment for relatively little cost, so please no low-ball offers.
$200 - Red Bottom Plate ($600 new)
$125 - Shoulder Dovetail ($550 new)
$300 - Allstar Dovetail ($530 new) - SOLD
$300 for Red Bottom Plate and Shoulder Dovetail sold together...in perfect condition!
