Just got an invite to googlewave and would like to get a good RED camera wave going. My address is andraelp@googlewave.com and once I get some invites will be handing out as much of them as possible. It will probably be a while before I get any invites though since I'm so new. I think googlewave will be so much better than twitter for what we do... we can embed video, pdf's, have one big group live text chat on any topic. Can't wait to get a few more RED users in my contact list.

Here is the link to the Wave for anyone who already has an account:

Link: Any other REDusers on here?

How do you get an invite?

I just asked on twitter for an invite and listened to see if any of my buddies had an invite. After a few days my friend Mohsin invited me on after he got his invites.

Add me to the invite list if possible once you get some. I really want to test out the Rosetta engine as I'm in Japan and would love to do the live translation thing.

Cheers!

will do once some invites are in.

Just pinged you on Wave, Andrae.

I think Google Wave will underlie almost everything we do on the web one of these days. Even in this limited preview it has been amazing for setting shoots up.

Yes i'm beginning to see the potential for filmmakers. Eventually I see it wiping away the need for these type of message boards. Of course I'm still getting used to it and it seems confusing at first.

I don't know that It can do away with things like these. I see Wave being used for more interpersonal work and relations instead of stranger to stranger tech talk.

Get a red wave large enough to where it has a couple hundred prolific red users and most of the information on here would be posted over to it minus the trolls. :-) Kind of like how I use twitter now by adding as many redusers to my buddy list and just listen in to see what they are talking about.

Thanks for adding the link... you will have to make a new edit to the wave explaining how you did that. :-)

If they add an automatic table of elements extension that you could start in the first wave, then section headers like in a wiki, that could be useful. But until there is an easy way to wave on the go... I don't know how it can be used like twitter. But I'm still loving it. Just a little messy right now.

Yeah that it is... very messy... google will definitely have to add organizational tools.

One going my way wouldn't be a bad thing either!
