  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey Red Users,

I've been helped many times in these forums and I was wondering if you could help me out as I'm in a bit of a pinch.

I am shooting 2k 2:1 and trying to shoot 120fps but the camera only allows me to shoot 105fps. Even when I change to shutter, it still doesn't allow me to shoot 120fps.

Build 20.1.3.

What is the best setting for shooting 120fps (shutter, resolution, iso, etc)?

Thank you very much,
David

What type of media are you shooting to and what is the quality setting?

Thanks for replying.

Quality: 2k 2:1 REDCODE 36
I'm shooting on 16gb CF cards.

David - you'll have to switch down to RC28 for the max frame rate available. And REDdrive over cards although I think the 16GBs should give you at least 113fps if not the full 120 (dont have 16GB card on hand but I know thats the case with the 8GBs).

Cheers

David, set QUALITY to REDCODE28 to shoot 120fps for 2K 2:1 with 16gb CF Card - Lim
