Monitoring Via Blackmagic HDLink Pro

HI EVERYONE

I'm running my red1 and I'm tryiing to monitor with an Apple Cinema Display 30'' via SDI out of the camera (ET Bracket). SDI input to the blackmagic HDLink Pro and the image appears just for a few seconds and it desappears forever. I already checked all the connectors, the cables and the monitor and they seem to be OK, I think could be the BM HDLink Pro, perhaps I need to update it or some, but I'm stock on that.


ANY HELP??SUGGESTIONS???

I'm trying to use an Blackmagic HDLink Pro (+HDLink Utility 3.3.1) as an HD-SDI to DVI/HDMi converter for a consumer Benq 24" FP241W LCD (also have Dell 24" 2407WFP).
The tested device is a RED One camera system with this firmware build : I tested it likewise
A.: 17. v3.4.1., B.: 20. 20v.1.3,(final) C.: 21v.21.02.(beta vers.)
Blackmagic Design HDLink Pro it does not work with the RED HD-SDI signal......(50mhz, also 60mhz)
We're working in 720p (25Fps.). But the LCD won't recognize the signal coming from the HDLINK-Pro at this setting 720p. HDLink Pro drop of signal every seconds!!!!

I also have an AJA-downconverter (1. Hd-sdi to analog, 2. Hd-sdi to Hdmi) which does work feeding 720p to the Lcd......and works perfectly with Aja, it's operating very well!

check the hdlink's settings through windows(mac version as well, cant remember). I had similar problems that were fixed when I fiddled with the settings.

is the red's output mhz wise bang on spec?

If you look at the eye pattern of the Red HD-SDI output on a scope, it is not great.

The original HDLink accepts the signal, but the HDLink Pro will not unless you go through a re-clocker first.

So it's the red thats out of spec then. Or BM being to on spec only.. whichever way you look at it lol.
