Hi!

I posted this before (along with several other items which were all sold). Two agreed deals collapsed at the last moment (no serious buyers) so here I am offering this up once more, this time for a much reduced price:

- AN ANGENIEUX 12-240mm 16mm format ZOOM LENS

A quite rare zoom that has an amazing range of 20X. For those who know rare, special lenses. I checked it on RED and it covers 2K just fine. Keep it like this and use it for 2K, taking advantage of the great zoom range. Or add a simple 2X extender and turn this into a wonderful 20X Zoom for the 35mm format (or 4K for RED or EPIC)! Many Angenieux 12-240mm lenses went through this rather cheap conversion, and ended up as a 25-500mm zoom lens for the 35mm format. I added a 2X extender myself to check (I don't have one available) and the lens covered 4K on RED throughout its entire range.

Also, it will be a great lens to have for the upcoming Scarlet. I'm pretty sure once it hits the market, many 16mm lenses will skyrocket in value.

The lens comes in Arri Bayonet, again very simple to adapt to PL with a simple converter. The F-stop is 3.2, T-stop is T4.2.

Visual Products sells this for $1,500, I was asking originally $1000.

Note: now it's reduced to only $700, including free shipping anywhere in Continental US.

Don't pass this amazing bargain. The zoom range is simply fantastic and the lens is very nice! Impossible to find it at this price anywhere else.

The lens ships from New York City. If interested, e-mail me at:

Thank you for your interest! Please see pics below.

All the best,
George

P.S. ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS PLEASE.

The only difference is the lens mount and the reflex viewfinder on the Bolex version.

Does the reflex viewfinder on the C-mount one, or anything else about it disqualify it from working with the 2/3" scarlet? What specific advantages George does the lens you're selling have over other Angenieux lenses out there? If this lens you're selling is the best kind to get for a long zoom Angenieux, I'm interested with the price having dropped to $700.

I was reading about these Angenieux lenses, and I can't find it now, but somewhere I read that there are like A, B and C type lenses. And you want to get one of the types, another will work, but one of them won't. It is made to focus through a camera specific prism or something.

Thoughts?

A is the reflex viewfinder version
B is the normal version (like George A's one above)
C is the RX version for use with a Reflex Bolex (i.e. designed to focus through a prism).
