I am almost ready to burn my feature to a 2K DVD. Need step my step instructions.

Project was rendered in Apple Pro Res 422. Shot in 4k and now I need to burn a 2K DVD. I am new at this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.:banghead:

2K DVD???

No such thing. You can burn 1080p, not actual 2K, to Blu-Ray (or HD-DVD as a dead format). If your film is small enough and you're OK with a lower bit-rate, you can burn the Blu-Ray / HD-DVD compliant data to a standard DVD or DVD|DL and play from that, is that what you're asking about?

You say you have Apple Pro Res files, so I'm assuming you'll be doing your authoring with FCS. If you have FCS3, you may do best to compress to Blu-Ray compliant format out of Compressor and write it to a conventional DVD. Once again, if it will fit. This is also assuming you want it to play in standard players. If you don't care about player compatibility, you can encode to H.264 for playback on a PC, Mac, XBOX360 or PS3.

If you are on FCS3 you can export ( "share" in Applespeak) to BluRay without any hazzle.
