Must be driven by RED ROCKET. I was about to do this.

4xHD monitors from 4xDVI output (actually from RR 2XDVI out using 2xDVI Dual Link Splitter Cables=4xDVI out) from REDRocket drives total resolution at 3840x2400 pixels.

I was looking at the signage version of TVLogic's 42 inch panel, that has really thing edge but unfortunately, it is not full HD panel.

I'm going to investigate further, so if I find something I will post my findings.

I would go with 4 of the Samsung 2343BWX then you'll get full 4K 16:9

We use them right now no odd scaling.

It looks like that we are already there...affordable 4K monitoring with RedRocket + 4 x Samsung 2343BWX 23" LCD Monitors...

Why not do this properly and use 4 1080p projectors? This could now be done for around $4000. I'd assume some post houses are already doing this?

Ben,

This was just a proof-of-concept for the DCS event. You could certainly do this with four projectors.

Hehe... I've been wanting to do this since I got my RED Rocket. But I don't have 4 of the same monitors, other than 30" DELL monitors and those don't accept any of the signals put out by the Rocket.

It's only a matter of a short amount time before quad-HD and full 4K displays start to become more common. ...or so I'm thinking.

I'm tempted to buy 4 of those Samsungs and rip them apart to get rid of the plastic bezel frames, then see how close I can place the panels to one another. Unfortunately, I have better things to spend $800 on at the moment... And I just bought a new 52" plasma...
