  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

So 4.5k requires REDCODE 42? If no, then will those of us who are shooting with the 8GB cards and working with REDCODE 28 be able to work with the 4.5K?

You are still getting 4.5K to an 8GB CF card that may have been in use for 2 years at this point, pretty remarkable in my book.

And yes you can get RC42 on the RED Raids.

I am going to have some fun with this build, like all of them thus far.
I see a weekend full of 4.5K vistas and vertical portraits :emote_happyhappy:

Not a requirement of 4.5K, just a higher quality option.
And yes you can shoot 4.5K RC28.

Hey Sean, not complaining, i'm computer science, i understand tech limitations, I'm happy, grateful, etc.

4.5k is especially meaningful to me because it gets me wider, woohoo!
 
I love how the LCD tells you what color space your in! That is fantastic. One suggestion right off the top would be to allow the user to create a full 4.5k user defined area so we can get the entire full frame outline w/center cross hair. Right now it stops short of that full horizontal width. Everything else looks great though!

What are the micron dimensions of 4.5k verses the old 4k 2:1?
 
wicked!!! now I just wonder if it will have any of the RED-Drive problems I had with B20...
