  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Vertical Lines in RED files

i had the same issue on a recent very hot shoot. I opened a support ticket with red today and they told me it was a heat issue. The comments about it being a component makes me want to send the camera back in.

I had 3-4 vertical lines in the center of the image. fans set to auto. build 17. didn't see it on the RED LCD but was clearly there on SOME footage. I was doing long interview takes

Well, for the moment, you know the quick fix. Do a reset to defaults on the camera, blackshade and should be fixed for a while. BUT if continues, then send your camera back. I'd send mine back regardless.
