Hi all,

I need help with setting up the ideal RED workflow. A detailed equipment list would be very helpful. And with the existence of SCRATCH, what is the best choice software & hardware for editing that can handle all possible tasks?

Thank you in advance!

Since there are many possible work flows dependent on budget and production needs. I strongly recommend you read through many of the posts here and re post any specific questions about equipment, work flows and suppliers you may have.

Just like what Nir said, it depends on how much money u wanna spend ...
U can havet different possible workflows with Premiere, Avid, FCP... u have to choose what suits u.
By the way , are u located in Lebanon ?

I think youd be surprised how much this topic has already been discussed at length. If you do a quick search, or look in the workflow section of the forum, you might find some useful information that could help you decide.

If youre already setup with an edit system, odds are it will be RED ready by now, most of them are.

sorry for the delay & thnx for your replies,
My budget is around 150k & i'm seeking a RED wrkflow that has already tested & works fine. There are tons of info & opinions here, and i'm a bit confused about the best solution.
Sally... yes i am, do we know each other?
best.
