Are these still lenses converted into cine lenses? If so I assume the focal lengths relate to full-frame 35mm format, yes?

The focal lengths would always the same, however on a different format the AOV will be different. A 50mm lens is always a 50mm lens

Lens question

Lens question

Are these K-35's? Are they in PL mount?
Thanks

These are definitely Canon K-35s, built between 1976-1982~. They are amazing lenses. I am biased and own a set but honestly, they're gorgeus. I just ACed a feature and the DP said they were his new favorites. He liked them more than the Cookes. The 24, 35, 55, 85 are all full frame. The 18 will cover 5k but not 6k. 12 blade iris. Dope. Fred, good luck with your asking price.

Think about the future though. These lenses will be worth more once the FF cameras come out I think... unless lens makers start pouring out full frame cine glass, there aren't many options right now

We these lenses manufactured by Canon ? Id always thought they were rehoused stills glass.

I actually have a set of these (BNCR), but my housings don't have the yellow markings on them, I'm guessing they were put there as ownership identification.?... But does anybody know the history of these lenses, ie: were there multiple runs of them, are they all the same design/glass throughout the runs... Any info on these babies would be greatly appreciated, as I am always being asked about them...

TIA

Tony, do you use these lenses? If they are K-35's they have quite a history including winning an Oscar, but they are older lenses. I'd be interested in any information people have about them also. I understand they are difficult (but not impossible) to convert to PL mount.

Investigating?

Investigating?

I also have a set of these Canons in BNCR mounts and am investigating their conversion to PL mounts. Will share info when I get it.
