hi guys,

i have this experience :

i try to reload from 16GB CF card. The card has been used for shoot, with 3 times formatted. The Slate number for first time was A003, next was A007, and the last was A011. The files was created on August 22 2009. When i try to reload, the odd thing happened.

"Reloaded files started from A011, then jump to JULY!!!"
"where's the other slate number ???"

FYI : i'm using B20 V20.1.3.

Can somebody help me with this situation ???? thank u so much for the information.

This is the exact expected behavior of REDundead.

Any file recovery tool, including REDundead, can only recover things that have not yet been overwritten.

When you formatted A003, the camera started at the beginning of the drive and wrote files.

When you formatted A007, the camera again started at the beginning of the drive and wrote new files, overwriting A003.

When you formatted A011, the camera again started at the beginning of the drive and wrote new files, overwriting A007.

It looks like none of the rolls, A003, A007 or A011 were long enough to overwrite data that you wrote in July, which is why REDundead found that footage.
