This is a repost from the lens test section (I didn't get a reply...)

I think I remember seeing this somewhere on REDUser but I can't seem to find the dimensions of the RED Pro Primes...can someone help steer me in the right direction or give me the correct dimensions?

I'm looking for the dimensions for finding a case for the lenses...

Many thanks

Ketch, thanks for the reply. I already consulted that page, but, it doesn't include the outer lengths and widths. I'm presently in NYC (I'm from Canada) and wanted to buy some lens cases on Sunday (I fly back Monday).
These cases are for when I have to be more lightweight (the lenses will go into these cases *and* another case.

I'm looking into these lens cases:

Fredrik, thanks for your info. I am getting a real ATA case made for the lenses, but the 5 lenses and the case will weigh over 20 kg...not always practical for all applications. I have a photo backpack i would like to use to carry 1 or 2 lenses when I have to get out and about "lightweight". I would like to put the lenses in the lens case then in the backpack.

Jean, we have a nice selection of soft bags as well as the hard cases in our showroom. Feel free to stop by the office and we'll show you some options. If you'd like me to help please drop me an email or call so that I can make sure it fits my schedule.

Remember that one thing that you don't want is a soft case that is fine as far as diameter, but has too much room to play in hight, this will cause for the lens to slid up and down, and you absolutely don't want that, so make sure to get a soft case that fits perfectly, both in width and hight.

If you don't find one that meets the need, more likely wide just right but to long as in the case of the casing for the super telephoto ones, then just add foaming on the bottom.
