KITES IN INDIA

Shot long time ago with a Birger mount and some canon lenses.
Completely finished in Vegas9 with a lot of effort on color grading in order to achieve a natural and organic feel.

Great work guys. It is good to see home from a different set of eyes. Sorry we couldn't connect when you guys were here.

its such a depressing tone... too organic for my taste... and a tad touristy. I am too familiar with the bollywood tone of things. like sandeep said, seen from a different set of eyes.

Though I can imagine loving a character in that tone. very naturalistic. it would suite a very hard-working, very low middle class gentleman who goes to work riding on a side of a bus ledge, who works for some it company. it would make me impatient, wanting to see and know what the inciting incident will be like, the life-changing incident of that character.

The naturalistic look, i feel, can accompany well a character, it's a mood setter. India's far too colorful to be set in that mood (for me as a location), even though that is exactly how those parts of India are.

It's videos like this one, that is the reason why I'm buying a Scarlet. Thank you for a beautiful video.

Thats truly beautiful...

are you recording to CF on those pictures Mike?

Very cool guys! It kind of reminded me of Baraka at parts. Loved the wide shot at the end.

Stunning visuals , Congrads, what lenses did you for the city view shots in the beginning. The Dof looks so natural in those shots.

keep up great work!
