Hi,

i have question regarding the clip timecode: we edited with quicktime proxies created in camera, after the final cut (!) we rendered the selected clips to QT Prores and want to relink them in the Final Cut Pro Sequence.

Seems like the proxies were using TOD and the PRORES are using Edgecode (or vice versa) - is there a way to change the timecode used by the clips either in the proxy clip or in the prores clip?

If there is one please let me know - so I don't have to re-render or insert the clips manually ;-)

best wishes,
martin

i did a search and read other posts regarding my problem:

- would trashing the RSX Files help?
- would trashing the QT Proxies and making new ones in RA with changed TC settings help?

kind regards,
martin

final cut pro is pretty hard, have you got any other conforming tools? That might use the SDK?

Marcus

no, it has to be final cut.

kind regards,
martin

unfortunately this will be hard as prores is final, maybe hard to fix without the original files to hand, but if you mail me the EDL I can see what I can do.... do you have XML. Also a project file if possible.

..... my mai is under private, I will take a look this weekend

regards

Marcus

Marcus - thank you very much, but the deadline is really close and we chose to do it manually.

Best wishes from Munich,
Martin
