Hi,
I have a 2007 MacBook what I use on location. It just have a 64MB of VRAM, and new Final Cut Studio 3 need 128 MB of VRAM.
This is a work around to force install it anyway.
In the file "FinalCutStudio.dist" in the archive "FinalCutStudio.mpkg"
remove the line:
<installation-check script='installationCheck()'/>
Now it installs on anything
When all is installed, to start FCP remove the file:
/Applications/Final Cut Pro.app/Contents/Resources/MRCheckPro.bundle/Contents/MacOS/MRCheckPro
To start DSP remove this file:
/Applications/DVD Studio Pro.app/Contents/Resources/MRCheckPro.bundle/Contents/MacOS/MRCheckPro
To start Color, remove this file:
/Applications/Color.app/Contents/Resources/MRCheckPro.bundle/Contents/MacOS/MRCheckPro
