  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I got notice a few days ago that my RED Pro Prime Lens Set will be ready in the next batch. I just have to let them know within the next couple days that I'm still interested.

Unfortunately have been unable to come up with the rest of the $$ that I need. If anyone wants to pay for and then take delivery of my set (assuming this isn't against the rules) it is up for grabs.

You can send wire transfer directly to my account at RED. I will then add your shipping address to my account and have the lenses sent directly from RED to you.

I sold a RED 18-85mm zoom lens a few months ago to a reputable member here. The lens was shipped directly to their address without a problem and I made a nice $600 premium on that sale.

I am NOT asking for any premium for the RED Pro Primes. In fact I will even pay for shipping within the US. If you are in California you will have to pay the sales tax if you want it shipped directly from RED to you. Or, I can have them shipped to me in MA, and then ship them back to you in CA. :wink5:
 
They may be already gone if the guy who contacted me (within 20 minutes of posting) wants to go through with the deal. If not, then....

Tony, if you have an account at RED, go through the checkout process for the RPP's and see what the total is. That is the amount it will cost you.

Did you pre-order or is it going by the number of your camera? (Just trying to get a beat on when I may get an email from RED.)

I'm pretty sure they are now going by serial number for those who ordered before the cutoff date. I ordered on 4/23/09. Got the email on 7/24/09.

I just haven't been able to come up with enough $$....

Kind of strange... I ordered over 2 years a go and haven't got the email as of yet.

I ordered mine about year and a half ago and just got the notice. Unfortunately, due to changed circumstances, I have to pass on or delay the delivery. Bummer! :arf:
 
BTW, I still plan on getting RPP's when they start selling them individually. It is hard coming up with $19K when things like RED Rockets become available at the same time.

In case anyone was wondering why I would go through the hassle. Why not just cancel?
