Locked or Moderator only threads

[Ben Coleman]

Can a moderator only thread for updates be added to the forum or is this frowned upon? I ask because I have a hard time sifting thru the Recon folder for the hidden gems of info from the Red staff. I have been a lurker here for a few years now and with more people jumping in the discussion the important info tends to get buried.

Having a locked thread can insure that the pertinent information is always at the top and easy to find. Then hopefully some of the same questions such as "when is the scarlet going to be released" can be brought to a minimum.

I know this is my first post here so hopefully I don't get blown off because of that.

If I'm understanding you, is this what you are looking for?

It's new, so still a bit slim, and everyone is still getting used to it, but I figure that's what you are asking for.

later,
Jason

Yeah that is not bad, I never had seen that before. I was suggesting something that we can't post in so every time there is some news there are not 20 pages of replies mixed in saying "good job". I've noticed a few threads that seem to get knocked off the main topic by replies like that. After looking over that folder it looks like it will work. Thanks
