HELLO ALL REDUSERS:

We have launched a new service for the community. First I'll tell you why we did this and then I will explain how easy it is to participate.

Over the last almost 2 years, I am asked frequently, " what has been shot with the RED", by perspective clients. I have to first give them a list of my credits and then go on reduser and go to the shot on red forum and search for cool projects i can tell them about.

those days are over.

now if we all participate, there can be one place where a current list will be constantly updated where we can all go and see what is being shot on red.

so if you are shooting on a red today, log on and let us know and we will let everyone else know.

It is very simple to use, log on, fill out the form, hit submit and your done...it is almost too simple, but maybe over time it will evolve to be a much more 2009 type flash based blah blah facebook myspace blog streaming media internet site, but for now, it is just simple html 1994 style.

thank you and hope to see your names up on the list.

thanks

This is great. I hope it prospers. You've got my support.

I also assume it is ok to put past RED projects on there, yes? Or are you wanting to keep it from the present day on?

And where do you access the list?

go back as far as you want...the list will emerge as the data emerges...it has been up for 20 minutes...you are the very first to post.

the list is up.

Bad ass dino.
Great idea.

Hi,

A fairly innacurate source IMO 'Wanted 2008' Should read Panavision 35mm

Stephen

Be that as it may...actually, there are quite a bit of good sources listed there, but like I said:

I'm not sure if they are entirely accurate and some projects may have only been partially shot on RED, but still a good resource:

As far as I know, "Wanted" was shot on Film and many shots were done simultaneously on RED for early tests, even if they weren't used in the final cut. But this lead to that same DP (Mitchell Amundsen) using RED is some degree on future projects, such as "G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra"

cj...agreed and will do.

dit and link field added per your request.

enjoy

and thanks for the support.

What a great idea Dino thanx for putting in the time! You gotta do something about your signature though dude! it has crossed that border of becoming obnoxious.

shortened the signature...

So, when I click the "Red Shoots" link, it takes me to spreadsheets.google.com............ and I don't see anything. Just me?

i am working on updating that part, i have only had this up for a couple of days and only had about 9 submissons, so in the next few weeks the reporting side of this will be up, keep adding info and then you'll see it..

thanks
dino

I have updated the reports page to reflect the status of that page, sorry, it was working perfectly, now i have to spend a little time fixing it...thanks for being patient.
