  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Looking for DP with own RED for music-video (3 - 3.30min).

I just wanted to thank all DPs/directors for sending me their high-quality
portfolios. It`s great to have a forum where you find all these professionals.:thumbup1:
Most of your comments were really supporting (despite the "Stay in Germany" of a original German DP) and gave us a crash course in filming/lightning/budgeting.
I`ve picked a DP/director from Virginia this time. He is hopefully for this specific project the best choice.

I hope this won`t be the last vid we produce,so I will keep most of the weblinks you`ve sent us in this forum for upcoming videos .

I was making a sarcastic comment about your very low budget and that your travel cost will exeed what your spending on the production.... It's a sad state of affairs in the music video world it has moved from an artistic business to a charitable endeavor....

How about Iceland?
One of the best exchange rates in the world and everything you mentioned is in place. There are direct flights from Germany to Iceland and I personally have a great background in music, film and music video production.
I'm actually shooting a music video on August 11th and 12th using 4k RED and a full lighting truck.
If you want me to provide you with a budget, just let me know.

Come to beautiful sunny Alicante, sun, sea, palm trees and a full RED One production kit with myself and our DP Chris Parker who has been in the industry for 40 years and has many top end music videos and commercials to his credit. We can put you up in our Villa here (with pool). There are loads of fantastic locations with grand pianos already there. We also have full (RED friendly) Final Cut and Avid suites at one of our villas so we can cut the promo while the band relax by the pool.

We can deliver within your budget to a VERY high standard. I will make our showreels available to you if you decide to make contact.

I am also good friends with both Norbert Masch and Hans Barth at Warners if you don't know them already, which might be an added bonus!
