finally received my much anticipated Digital Harinezumi from those crazy nutters at Superheadz. it's claim to fame is it's lo-fi Super8-esque tastiness. So here it is filming something definitely not 'lo-fi' (and vice versa).

btw - credit for the original find must go to Jason & Mike from the RedCentre podcast...

WOW I love that!!!
Shot a lot super 8 with a Cine Beullieu.
I love the noise and the flickering.
DAN:
When I download some Of the "original M4V" Movies that are posted at VIMEO there is a very hevy - I think you call it - debyer pattern?
I mean those small squares everywhere where its contrasty or where's a colour shift.
Are those also in the original Camera AVI?
Do you by any chance have a short, contrasty daylight clip, you could post the Original AVI of?
I would really appreciate it!
Regards KIM

That is dope!
This could finally be a replacement for my PXL2000 (died while trying to shoot RED unboxing)

Anyone find a source yet?

I'll get mine at eBay. But I also read that four corners store had some aswell.
Someone sent me an original AVI and it really looks great!
Look out for the clips of nick dangerfield on vimeo!
What would be the best way to "pump up" the SD to HD quality without loosing too much more picture quality..

Ah, the old up-rez question...
Taking this thing from SD to HD would be like super8 to 35: same lack of detail and blurry, noisy image, just on a bigger format! Best way would be to finad a facility that had a Teranex box, or a high-end finishing system.
