What's the consensus these days? What IR filter do you guys like using most?

I have a full set of Schneider ND filters. I'd just like an IR filter to use with or without the ND filters. I was shooting outside today with no mattebox and could see lots of IR pollution.

Thanks guys

I just got off a feature where we were regularly shooting in 100 degree sunlight using up to ND 18 filters. The Rosco IR filter made it so we never had IR issues. It's also a lot cheaper than the Schneiders or Tiffens.

Check out the review Evin did a while back on the different Hot Mirrors. I've had the Tiffen Hot Mirror for over a year now and I really like it. Use it every time I shot outside in extreme sunlight.

Sounds like the Rosco is more brittle. Tiffen looks nice. How much $ is it?

Yeah that was the reason I stayed away from the Rosco. I like durable and that's why I went with the Tiffen Hot Mirror. I think I paid around $400 at Filmtools for it. Might be a little more but it was worth it.
