  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Why My render speed is always 2fps even if i select draft?

Hi ,
I have tried to set the process setting to MEDIUM or Draft but Redcine is always rendering out at 2 fps...

I have set the project to HD , scaled the image , set prores HD , set process medium or draft....nothing always 2fps (so 4k decoding...)

I am using the last version out...

Any clue please/

thanks

Because your viewing debayer settings have to match the output debayer settings. If you are viewing in full, it will continue to show you the image with a full debayer as it renders.

Use the following settings when rendering:

Process Full: Show Full Res High
Process Standard: Show 1/2 Res High
Process Draft: Show 1/4 Res High

A mismatch of any of these settings will dramatically slow down your renders.
