Can't see nothing in my both reference monitors (1 SD and 1 HD 1080p) when editing with Premiere Pro CS4 4.1. Have an AJA Kona 3 Card and tried all the different settings for reference display that Premiere Pro offers: 625i, 1080i, 1080p... at 8 bits, 10 bits... etc... but no one works well. In AE and FCP I can see the video perfectly in my reference monitors.

Hardware:

Mac Pro 2x2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon with 16 GB of RAM
AJA Kona 3
Reference Monitors:
EIZO FlexScan HD2441W (HD 1080p)
SONY PVM-14M2E (SD PAL)

All software is up to date:

Mac OS X 10.5.7
QuickTime 7.6.2
Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 4.1
REDCODE CS4 Plugin 1.7.0
AJA KONA 3 Drivers Version 6.0.3
AJA Mac Plug-ins 6.0.3 for Adobe CS4

Anyone has the same problem?

Xena 2Ke

Xena 2Ke

Im use same AJA Card but in PC Version XENA 2Ke windows Vista 64 bit and all is ok, reinstall Premiere maybe

I've talked with AJA support and they had the same problem, but they discovered that it be solved by setting the playback mode (1080p 10 bit for example), saving the project, closing premiere and reopen it again.

Anyway it works for a while, but then randomly the problem of the strange repeated pattern appears again.

Chester.

There are problems with current Kona 3/ Premiere integration for monitoring Red footage. I believe they are trying to work out the bugs with this.

Yes, i agree

Yes, i agree

Aja Xena 2ke and Kona need Premiere CS4.1 RED ONE edit mode for red footage, monitoring in 2K res.
