Video Equipment Raffle for Charity - $7,500 in Prizes (as seen on DVXuser)

Over at DVXuser we've been promoting our video equipment raffle and they've helped us raise over $5,000 for charity. Unfortunately, we're still $2,000 short of our goal. So with the deadline quickly approaching (June 10th), I wanted to give everyone on REDuser the same opportunity to win great prizes for a good cause.

I've bought a bunch of tickets for this raffle this week. PK has done great work at Isara, and this is a win/win situation. Isara's kids get a much needed van, and we get a shot at some great gear, donated by DVXuser sponsors.

Lots of folks have come on board to help out with this one, and with tickets starting at 5 bucks, the chance to pick which items you want a chance at, AND a limited number of tickets increasing your odds of winning, how can you go wrong?

Most importantly: TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO BUY A TICKET!...Unless Thailand has a different calendar than we do....

I hope that some of you considering helping out your DVXuser cousin in this worthwhile effort.

I just bought a bunch of tickets. Thank you guys so much for doing this.
I see it as both a joy and a responsibility that I am able to utilize the opportunities I have in America and spread that wealth over to the people who really need it. Raffles like this create a perfect situation for both parties and I hope that the companies you're working with will continue to donate equipment for raffles like this.

EDIT:
I just got an email detailing a few of the things that can be bought with the money we give. It's amazing how much can be done with very little. Even with the economic crunch, we can still afford to sacrifice a few luxuries so that others can have some necessities.
