[Curran Giddens]

Looks like it to me....

[Michael P. Schmidt]

yep ... it is !!

[Laco Zamba]

3 user buttons are in front ... but it looks like modified RED EVF
Good find

[Dave Weber]

if not i wonder what it is .......

[David Didato]

It definitely looks like an EVF. Which makes you think they are shooting their spots on RED.

[Martin Christien]

I'd say considering how close Red and Apple work together, its a good chance
your right, shot on the Red for sure.

Probably trying to spare AT&T's network. With built-in auto-upload to YouTube, can you imagine how much of a difference 3MP and 5MP makes on 20-second clips across millions of users?

that is absolutely a RED EVF. whcih means obviously the spot was shot RED otherwise why would they have one just laying around for a prop.

[Darren Orange]

Sorry posted a thread and did not see this one already, the other I started got shut down, so here is the image I posted to make it easier for everyone to see.

I don't think that's necessarily a safe conclusion on a spot at that budget level.

Art dept/props had an awful lot to procure. An important prop like that would have been taken care of well in advance by the right people.

[Imran Farouk]

either way its clear that apple ads tend to put in anything that looks cool..so safe to say...that the RED EVF is a cool object just to carry around with you

[Brent J. Craig]

I think the point people have missed here is that we may have just caught the first glimpses of the new Red periscopic spy cam!

I laughed at the joke, but unfortunately the iPhone's video is only 640x480 so the sensor size clearly doesn't control video sizes.

I like the new iPhone, but the unsubsidized price is too high for me to upgrade from my existing 3G. My money's better spent on a new 17" MacBook Pro, especially since it finally has a decently sized system disk.

Noticed that instantly too...and knew every other shooter on here would too. Funny how attuned our eyes are.

[Eric Maran]

Fincher directed it, and he has been experimenting with the RED..........

[Joseph Hutson]

For those looking to upgrade their iPhones to the 3G "S", have you seen what the current iPhones are going for? Even broken iPhones with cracked screens, and submerged under water?

there may be an iphone app to tell you weather its a red evf or not
