RSX File in REDrushes

I am trying to change the looks for many files in REDrushes based on what I have done in REDalert. I was under the impression that if you made the changes you wanted in REDalert, close it then reference that corresponding RSX file in REDrushes than you can have that look for many clips. I have been trying this and each time I get the same in camera looks. Please let me know if I am missing a step. Thank You.

Not sure what steps you're using but it should work. From what I understand RR does not use the curve settings saved in the RSX but it uses all the other settings. Perhaps someone has a detailed list...? I'm testing this right now.

Okay, I was wrong. Curves do work in RR. I did some testing by adjust each and every one of the elements in RA individually, and they all work in RR.

Definitely works, I do it every day.

Select RSX under look source and leave RSX source left on CLIP RSX, and don't select anything under SELECT RSX.

This assumes you want to process the clip you are transcoding and not using one RSX for several.

Works great, including curves.
