Just lately watched the new DEPECHE MODE VIDEO directed by PATRICK DAUGHTERS.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gu1y1mSxtAs

I was wondering how they realised the wide Driving Shots.
It's definetly not a Trailer and there is no Tow Dolly (do you say so?) visible but the Camera is in some way attached to the car.
Does anyone know how they did that.
Retouch the Tow Dolly?

By the way: this is my most favorite Clip since RABBIT IN YOUR HEADLIGHT - UNKLE by JONATHAN GAZER
DAUGHTERS mentioned FINCHERS - THE GAME as inspiration

@ Joe
If I remeber right DAUGHTERS mentioned in an Interview that they shot one night in New York and did additional close ups the next night. He said how hard it was to realise 6 Stunts in one night. Doesn't sound like greenscreen to me. Funny to know: The guy getting hit from the Moment he's falling off the back is SPIKE JONES.

@Nate and Dave:
Thanks for this enlightenment and the Link, looks very High Tech but makes a lot of sense.
Somehow the movements remind me of car racing games...

It's downtown L.A., on 4th st, just southwest of the intersection of 4th and the 110. If you live in LA it's unmistakeable.

Green? There's not a shot in there that isn't doable with various garden variety car mounts and the outrigger arm. Not even sure what shots could/would be a composite.

Camera angle inspired by GTA no doubt
