  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Introducing... Wireless Remote Control for Nikon (G) Aperture

the product is already developed. what sort of visual demonstration would you guys like to see to confirm its reality? i will send a few products to a few different people to confirm it's existence, with expectation of payment if they like the product. all we are doing is the tech to help ourselves in making films we want to make, and at the same time to help everyone else to do the same thing, as well as save and earn some money while doing it.
the product will most definitely be send out to red for testing and approval. however our thinking was to give everyone an idea of what our product and our vision for this product is and to get everyone else to join in the development process in order to minimize costs of film production. it's that simple and all we have is the product and participation of everyone who's interested in the same thing.

a video of it working would seem appropriate....
maybe a clear picture of it as well...

Like Alexander said it takes a few minutes....

i mean it is a working model right?
not just CAD drawings....

Hey Aleksei my RED is gone for upgrade and should be back sometime next week. Once it back we can shoot some sample video with the unit and whole bunch of Nikon Lenses we have, also a demo video use of the product.
Guys I'm quiet surprised at how skeptical we can get. I had the pleasure of playing around with the prototype couple months back.

hey Bal,
thanks :)
once bahram is back we should most certainly get together and make a few videos for the mounts

Ever heard of the Birgermount or Viewfactor thread? Then you would know why this scepticism exists - and those guys didn`t do frauds but "only" slipped on their delivery dates.

The reason I would like to have RED have a look at the mount is quite simple that I would not want to lose my warranty and upgrade-path to Epic by installing a non-certified mount.

Remember: If you install a non-certified mount and your camera breaks, you are on your own. If RED later on does not certify the mount, your camera will not trade in for 17.500 USD, thus making the mount rather expensive.
