I saw it for the first time last night; I liked the cinematography. Of course, it's pretty difficult to judge image quality of any PBS show on Comcast, given the fact that the compression they use is specially designed to turn even the best production into a steaming pile of trailing and macroblocks. Makes me want to claw my eyes out. I was surprised to see aliasing artifacts as well, I wonder where those were added.

Dont forget Anthony was the DP of Lars von Triers "Antichrist", screening today in Cannes..... you know.... shot on RED.... :)

I went to a Demo the other day for the digital vision Film Master, and they used wallander as an example project. Apparently there was the BBC version, and a Swedish Version of the same stories. Don't know if the swedish one was RED too. Both looked great though, looking forward to seeing the full product. Any Idea if there will be a BluRay version? We only have the DVD here.

Geoff CML Boyle shot the Swedish version on RED too.
