Jarred,
I see a list of approved lens mounts at http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=29979&highlight=approved+lens+mounts and then another list by Martin Weiss at http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=20689&highlight=approved+lens+mounts. Are these lists up to date?

Is the Douglas Underdhal Long Valley Oct-19 Mount approved?

Thank you,
John

ANA lens FoV conversion

ANA lens FoV conversion

A question for the smart guys here, assuming Steven Soderberg isn't lurking. In order to obtain a 2.35(4) frame with Pana lenses on the 16:9 sensor, what sort of conversion works? It's, what, 3k or something?

OK, so I'm a lazy SOB. 1.23.

Be careful shooting with the 50mm T1 lens. It might allow more light through the glass but very little is in focus at T1. I once owned the Canon 50 T1 lens, which sold for three times it's original price, but I found the lens useless wide open. The color rendition was beautiful, perhaps because of the shallow depth of field, but nothing was in focus (or very very little). On CU's I would have one eye sharp, the eyelashes soft, the eyebrows soft, and of course the nose and ear very very soft. If the actor moved it was all soft. It was distracting. Then I discovered an entire cult of shooters who used the lens all the time, interior and exterior, and only shoot at T1. They would put stacks of ND's for the exteriors. Just be aware that the laws of physics come in to play at this stop. Great lens but be careful. IMHO

Hey Jarred, should this be mentioned in your post on lens mounts in Crucial Ordnance? Seein' it's legal an' all that.
