  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Testedit film ethnic integration Netherlands

ok looks like an field dominance problem ...

there are a f"ew" factors you have to attend:

what framerate (and mode) have you shot this,

what editing codec to you use (converting /transcoding ... ProRes ...?)

what are you sequence settiings

and what are your export settings ...

and which program to you use for export

to you shot "progressiv" ?

try to set (export settings / size) Videosource(Deinterlaced)

maybe there are some setting at the transcoding you can fix ... what to you use for transcoding ( RED ALERT or RED RUSH) ?

Thanks for helping out. I used Red Alert for transcoding. I'm working on settings now.
I discovered something strange in the sequence settings. Although I put the settings on 1920 x 1080 p 25, the sequence settings were interlaced I only after getting into the menu I could avoid interlace. I'm exporting now and hope the problem is solved.

u r welcome ... i'm glad i could give you a little help ...

btw: looks really interesting ... i'm looking forward to see the "final master" :)

The idea is to place slowmotions of people thinking in between these shots. We can hear their opinions on integration as a monoloque interior. It's my first real assignment with Red. I still have to build up more experience with the camera and with Red Alert, but I'm learning fast now. I'm getting more comfortable with the camera itself, and I'm getting back to working easily like I used to with camera's that are not that heavy.
Working is having fun, surprises each day. Looking back at some shots I feel like vanishing into the monitor :-)
