Did my first "real" shoot with the Ruby 14-24mm yesterday for Nike...

I'm really becoming fond of this lens! Especially the flare characteristics, because of the full frame (24x36mm) coverage light sources outside the sensor area have a tendency to flare into frame is a spectacular, almost anamorphic way...

I saw Star Treak the night before the shoot so I was a bit inspired to use the flares. It's easily controllable with an eyebrow but I chose to go with it and I'm really happy with the look.

We also had a fun 80' running/tracking dolly shot with some well known NFL stars I can't show or name for obvious reasons, but here's a fun BTS vid..

Nice hat huh?:hat:

Woohoo, looks like a tonne of fun! I was out on the water this morning shooting dragon boats on red for the new 'run for the cure' spot, it performed beautifully as always.

Can't wait to see your spot when it's done. The lens looks great BTW.

great stuff evin.. as usual.

Thanks for the Ruby frame grab. Stuart's getting lots of great feedback but I'm sure he'd prefer it if everyone put their deposit money down.

the bokeh looks a bit funney of those two people in the frame grab... that's the first thing i thought, haha :)

j/k.

That looks like photoshop to me, just look at the shadow ... maybe because of legal reasons the figures where blurred?

Of course it was blurred. Read the post.

Evin do you need a 6x6 MB for the wide end of this lens?

easy easy jonnycom, I was merely pointing this out to someone else – my post was a response.

The dolly run looked fun BTW, that was some speed
