  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RedRocket 2months or 2010?

2 months in RED time or 2 months in real time? Not trying to start anything, I just happen to notice RED time is different than Real Time.

I was wondering if maybe they have had everything ready on the production side from ages ago. Since making the card should be relatively easy for them I thought they might be waiting to see which of their brain's chips they should use now for the debayering based on what their primes will cover. Of course nothing is easy, but they would basically know what they need to do and testing should be. Maybe they already tested all the parts while making the brains.. just thinking loud here.

So I wonder if now that they said they found out that all their current primes can cover 5.5k they will go with a slightly faster spec for the cards?

And maybe they will have to wait to see what the 18mm will cover before they decide on how much power the cards need to packed with...

Just some things that popped in my mind.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark here...

What if the card is ready to ship but Red is working secretly with Apple to integrate for the imminent Final Cut Studio Upgrade and then release both at the same time? ;)
