I'm getting a RedOne now and my dream plan is to get the pro primes and trade the redone for epic X when the ripe moment comes. getting into priority lines with this.

I'm upgrading from video DSLRs and have a redrock micro rig with mattebox, rods, shoulder mount and different rods configurations.

it's somewhat silly, but i'm getting a barebones kit to eventually trade in, so i dont want to invest in the RedOne Rig accessories now, already broke with the primes and everything deposits, and then trade it for Epic X.

Has anyone tried mounting RedOne pretty much stripped down on a redrock plates?

does anyone happen to have a photo of red one's bottom? i just want to see the mounting holes it has.

thanks

Ref Brook's Rod FAQ: The Arriflex 15mm Lightweight standard is made up of two 15mm rods that are 60mm apart and 85mm below the optical axis of the camera.

A standard 15mm lightweight support system mounted on the bottom of Red One will be too low.

A better solution is the Lightweight Rod Support from Long Valley Equipment. Element Technica has a similar product coming, discussed here.
