Hey All,

Just out of curiosity, how are other Red camera users storing all the little bolts/wrenches/cables/adapters, etc. that should always be on hand when the camera is in use? Currently, we have a little tool box that we picked up from Lowes that just doesn't seem to do the job. Its cheap and unprofessional. Does anyone have some suggestion/ideas on the best way to store all these extra parts and pieces for the camera? Something that is a little more professional/works better than our crappy tool box?

Thanks,

Scott

Pelican makes some micro cases that can come with clear lids.

I went to Homie Despot and got a couple of pouches from the tool section.
very durable and handy. One for RED cables and one for wrenches and extra screws

2 dollars each....just cause its cheap, dont mean it aint professional

Thanks for all the suggestions. Personally, I am okay with an option like fishing lure boxes (etc.) and think they would work great, but we want to make sure that we're providing clients that rent our cameras with the most 'legit' equipment available. But it sounds like what we have isn't too far off. So again, thanks for the suggestions! If anyone uses something different I would love to hear about it, otherwise I will probably make another trip out to Lowes/Home Depot and see what else I can find!

Thanks again,

Scott

Pelican lid organisers like this one ( LINK ) work great for us. Loads of places for greycards, warmcards, cables and odds and sods. Tamrac Cyberpack (backpack) has some handy zippable, non-mesh storage spots as well for smaller items like screws and bolts.
