Hi all,

Last year, the Reduser party was an energetic, but fairly small event. It felt good, but was a manageable thing.

This year, it was basically a RED tradeshow. Steve Sherrick was running around and I could see his brian thinking, "Ummm... exactly when did I become a tradeshow manager?!?!"

But - it was an awesome event. We had a great time, and there was a great spirit at the event. My friends at DVS had some incredible new technology at NAB, so I gave them some of my time speaking to the crowd because they did not have a scheduled speaking time. The vendors were all helping each other out, and everybody had a good time.

I just wanted to publicly tip my hat to Steve and say "job well done." It was a fantastic event, and a lot of fun.

Best,

Lucas

early bird talking. Back in germany I can agree with Luki, great event, great spirit. ! thks to all, helping to make this event possible.

I wanted to go so badly... but was knee deep in a project.

I'm glad everyone had a grand time. I'm so proud to be part of such a fantastic group of creative, tenacious, and technoholic folks.

RED.... you had me at "guess what"

Maybe I'll make it next year.....

I must agree.

To Steve and all who contributed, Thank you very much for a great event. I and a few I talked to were only in vegas for this event. NAB was just a filler until the REDUser event started.

To Jim and the RED team, thanks for all you do. And thanks for the great products you make and will make.

Ketch, thanks for the tirami su'. I hit you up at the end of the night when you had 4 left on the cart. You were gracious enough to let me have one even though you were saving them for someone else. For that I am eternally grateful. By the way .... It was awesome!

So in a nut shell, thanks to all for a great event. I had a blast.

Yes. Thank You. It was cool being able to go around to each Red-related vendor booth in one single place. The white castle burgers were a nice treat too, while they lasted. :)

...and Steve & Ted tag-teamed for perhaps the most efficient raffle ever! Blue Ticket!

I didnt make it this year but last years was a nice small event run very well with great presentations and atmosphere. regardless those things are hard to run and i also tip my hat to steve for even wanting to do it much less pulling it off so well.

Great event Steve! Really had fun talking to all the REDusers. Next time let's not overlap directly with NAB as that's a real pain for those of us that need to work that show, but otherwise a great time. And Ketch -- delicious!

Thanks Steve for organizing the event again this year.

And to Jim and the Red Team for providing us all the great products.

I understand why you as an exhibitor wouldn't want to have the Reduser event going on the same time as NAB. But as someone that just came there for the Reduser event and NAB happened to be going on at the same time, it was kind of fun. NAB was just something to do before the main event.

NAB was just something to do before the main event.

I won't be surprised if next year, Reduser's event becomes it's own show and exhibitors have to pull double duty.

Honestly, there could be another similar event during the winter around the release of Epic-X and you'd probably get as many if not more attendees.

Steve? :sifone:

You are most welcome Dave, it was a pleasure meeting you there, and I actually only had three promised, one was for me :), very pleased that you like it.

Micth, finally I got to meet you and it was my pleasure, and I hope when you say *delicious* you refer to the Tirami Su' :):)

ciao

Many thanks to Steve and everyone involved in putting this together; great job! Ketch, your tirami su' was exquisite! It was great having everything in one place, so I bought a fist-full of accessories to pimp my RED. The reels were jaw-dropping and Red Ray blew me away. My nose was running like a faucet from mega-hay-fever-cold, so I wasn't feeling very social and didn't get to meet many of you. Next time....

Cheers,

I think there's a middle ground here: have Red the same week, just either have it start after 5 or do it on the Sunday prior to NAB, that way you still get everyone flying in for NAB without directly overlapping.

How in the world did I miss the tirami su'? I was there every minute and just didn't see it.

Guess I'll have to wait until next year.

Great event Steve, I know it must have been lots of work but for those fortunate enough to attend, it was amazing.
