Wear high heels.

It's more about the comfort of the operator. You can easily put a riser in if you want the lens at RED One height.

personally I never like to shoot at eye level, and the RED sits high on my shoulder, so I actually think that's pretty cool

That new back pad is going to add operators movement to the camera as well, and make tilting up serious trick - camera should be balanced on the shoulder, not braced to the back like that.
