Here it is... A very nice condition Cooke 18-100 zoom. It's a beautiful lens that makes beautiful images and is wonderful on the RED One. I'll be honest and say that I'm somewhat conflicted about selling this lens. I'm only selling because I have several other lenses on order and I foresee my use of this lens diminishing. Produces a very organic, or filmic image that is very dimensional. Amazing bokeh properties, minimal breathing, excellent color rendition.

Cooke 18-100 T3 zoom.
Flight case with fitted foam, Motor and support bracket, drop-in filters (ND 0.3, 0.6, 0.9, 85, 85N3, 85N6), zoom knob, 2x18" steel rods, clip-on sun shade that holds 6" round filters/elements. Includes one 6" clear flat-front. Also includes two drop-in filter holders.

New price is USD $13,000 firm. Available for pickup near Denver, CO.

Shipping is available at extra cost. Accept cash, check, wire or PayPal. For PayPal, buyer must cover the 3% transaction fee on this one.

This lens is still available... again...

I originally decided not to sell this lens after many pointed out how foolish it was of me to do so. And they are right, but here it is again. I've just acquired a couple new lenses and feel that I really don't need the Cooke anymore. I love the look this lens produces, it has a lot of character for sure. Lovely bokeh, etc... It's a great workhorse lens on RED.

I can vouch for Jeff. This is a fantastic lens and like new.

Nooooo!

Nooooo!

You can't sell it yet — you can't deny the world the opportunity to see this magnificent face as captured in 4K by vintage Cooke glass ...

Won't somebody please think of the children?!? :crying:

LOL... But Erik, your mug shot there was not shot with the Cooke... IIRC, that was Meryem's 85mm Master Prime. The Cooke zoom was in the case because we had my camera mounted on Alan's steadicam rig with the 18-50.

I'll have to take a couple more pictures. The ones above are just OK... I especially like the thumb print on the glass, hope I didn't do that. It was probably Erik... Not you, Erik, the other Erik...

I know: the world still awaits with bated breath the opportunity to experience my thespian mojo as rendered by Britain's finest ... since you're a pal, I'll even do it for scale ... :rofl:

As much as I hat to do this... Price reduced.

Beautiful lens, but it's been sitting on a shelf for the past several weeks. It just doesn't fit my current needs for lighter-weight rigs for which I have purchased other new glass.

To clarify, the new reduced price is the $13,000. I WILL NOT drop the price below that, do not even ask.

Jeff,

It looks as if your pictures are MIA since the recent crash — might wanna re-post so everyone can see what a beauty she is ...

<jedi mind trick>

You will drop the price lower...

</jedi mind trick>

Heha... not a chance. I actually have a standing offer for about $150 lower than my asking price and it goes to the equipment dealer who made that offer in about 2 weeks if no one else wants it. Or maybe I'll just keep it...

You're not going to find another 18-100 like this one just lying around... Mine still has the interchangeable metric and imperial marked rings, set of Cooke ND filters, two filter holders. It's about 10~15 years newer than than the other two 18-100's that are for sale on these forums periodically. Oh, look there's one today.

@ Erik, thanks for pointing that out. I'll get some pictures back up here later today.

15 years Jeff, i would love to see some pics of this lens. Sounds very nice.

Hi Jeff,
I have this identical lens..
I CANNOT say enough GREAT things about it!!
Why the heck would you EVER sell such a perfect piece of glass?
$13K is WAY below what I paid for mine...nearly 1/2 what I paid.
Anyway, I do not have any drop-in filters for mine..I do have a wild Samcine gell-punch, but would like to buy some drop-ins...what size are these filters?
Seems I bought a few 40.5mm rounds a few years back & they don't fit...could you tell me what size you use?
