Hi!
I'm almost new to this community...
I'm having a little problem with the film i'm grading in color...
I've done all the grade with gamma set to redspace, no LUT (because the lab that will make the film print uses a ARRI LASER and told me not to use LUT because they don'thave LUT for Color), and the problem is that now i have all the grade done, but if i try to watch the r3d files i've graded in color with redcine, i can see that in color here's a lot of noise, heavy noise, incredible noise i can't see in redcine... what's happening?
I have to start a lot of new project with red in the next months, so i have to clear my mind from this... can someone help me? I've seen that some people talk about denoiser like neat video, but why i' can't see the noise on redcine, and the images look fantastic in redcine and horrible in color???
I used FCP / proxies to edit, than xml to color, correcting the metadata for the spanned clip, and i have to do a DPX out...
