I've been reading threads for months now and I still have the same questions...
I plan to buy the Scarlet as everyone else here and and the 2/3" with fixed zoom Complete Kit looks really attractive but I need the same stuff with interchangeable lenses, especially Nikon mount.
I'm wondering how much a Complete Kit with the 2/3" cinema will cost me including Nikon mount. Also what recording options do I have, Flash Compact card, hard drive?
Does anyone know if for +/- 5000$ I could afford a 2/3" cinema set-up (lens not included) works-out-of-the-box with modular options?
Classic questions for a first post, sorry for that...

Nobody knows anything yet. As nothing is set in stone, publicly.

Pricing of current Red One accessories should be reasonably indicative of pricing for DSMC accessories, but as stated, other than the brains there is no public pricing info on upcoming products.

I think the out of the box set up will most likely have the bare bones basic...so the IO module won't be included as such...the redmote most likely, the handle and a CF module and a monitoring option of some sort. Though this is all just speculation, we will most likely know a hell of a lot more after the REDUSER event :D

what do you mean by "architecture" as in the way the scarlet works or by the way it is built?
Apparently the fixed lens is set a lot deeper into the scarlet 2/3 compared to its counter parts in order for it to work.

Some parts inside fixed are probably different, body is deeper because fixed lens is more than 1/3 of its length inside brain but modularity is the same.
For non fixed we will need powermodule for sure, or grip with power accu built in.
