  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Up for sale NEW not used earlier Optica Elite anamorphic Zoom lens F = 50 - 160 /4.2 . Lens not used earlier .Lens has PL mount and ARRI standard focus and zoom gear rings .Glass is fine , multicoating not damage . Ser N AT014P03 .Lens cover format 35 mm - 4K for RED One camera .It is one of the best compact Zoom lenses extra sharpest and very contrast .Light weight - need not support - weight only 1.3 Kg .Lens has front diameter 80 mm .It is possible to use zoom lens without rear anamorphic adapter ( PL mount attach ) , in this case Zoom lens will has F = 25 - 80 / 3 .

Hi !
Elite Zoom F = 50 - 160/ 4.2 with rear anamorphic adapter full cover format Super 35 mm - ideal for 4K , without anamorphic adapter Elite zoom F = 25-80 / 3 cover format 35 mm , Super 35 vignetting on short focuses , Super 35 will cover from 30mm - 80 mm ( today especially tested on Optica - Elite ).

We have the earlier version (Ekran) of this lens and it is really perfect for hand-held or Steadicam work with the Red. Standing it next to our Cooke 25-250 is really a dramatic reminder of how few small, light-weight zooms are available for the Red.

this lens does not focus internaly? or does it, is there a lot of breathing?

Hi !
Manager of Elite informed me that breathing across and verticals about 6 % depending on zoom lens focus , regarding question about "internal focus " - lens has not internal focus - during focusing the front part of a zoom lens moving forward on 15 mm...
