Render Bar on 4K HD?

I know this has been answered, but I can't find it. Why do I get the red render bar in Final Cut with 4K HD mode?

Just to clarify, I mean when I shoot in 4K HD resolution and drop the _M quicktime proxies into Final Cut, I get the red render bar over everything. Am I doing something wrong?

Set the RT playback mode to Unlimited (upper left hand corner of the timeline).
