Hey All,

I was rendering a 90 minute clip in RA for MAC for about 48 hours straight (full debayer to ProRes) and decided to stop it as I had enough footage to work with.

When I do this in Red Rushes it allows you to use the QT file up to that point just fine.

I thought this is what would happen with RA but surprise! Says it's not a movie file, cannot open etc.

It's full size, 45GB so the data is in there. Any ideas about how I can convince the file it's QuickTime? I have tried cinema tools, copying the file, anything to jar it into submission.

Any advice would be appreciated, and would save me another 48 hours! :head_explode:

Thanks!

Jim

Sounds like there's no way to resurrect it. Oh well, good lesson!

I'm pretty sure I read in a user manual for RA that if you stop it mid render, the file is unusable. I can't find it now, though.
