Interesting vid. Can't say I like the song, or much of Eminem's newer stuff for that matter... The pop culture references were all over the place, some of them quite old like the elvis and beatles references. The plump Jessica Simpson gag was classy. And I think that's supposed to be Tony Romo from the Dallas Cowboys throwing her cheesburgers, she's dating him after all. Or was.. But doesn't Romo wear #9? Maybe I missed something about that spoof.

Why not? Just because its rap doesn't mean it lacks any meaning.

I personally saw the inclusion of older media icons (Elvis) as a way to illustrate the way our culture, especially influenced by companies that create and distribute culture, builds and exploits icons.

Maybe I am reading into it too much, but I rather not dismiss the message due to its medium.
