  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New Motion Control System. Time Lapse and FX

HUmm... Nice discovery

I hope this one is affordable.

Sorry, I heard it's like around $250,000.00 with all the bells and whistles and you will an engineering degree to operate it.

LOL

I used one before.

Tek

I hope you are wrong!!:)

I just email them for a quote. Will see...

hmmm, not wrong at all!
But they are probably the most advanced and reliable in this field!
I used to operate a few of their machines.

Price quoted on Camblock last week was $8400 for a pan tilt system, excluding the pocket pc, which they can supply for another $ 400.

Seems a great system, although slightly more expensive than the pan tilt system by mrmoco which is £ 5500.00 UK

Seems like it might be a popular unit in the future. Especially being able to add another axis for dolly also.

I did not see any weight limits on the camblock, any one know if it can support our "big baby"?

They tend to be very expensive, however everything is very well made and reliable.

But most of the features I'm interested in are "coming soon" and have been for quite some time now. The motor modules don't have enough torque to properly support a well-equipped RED One or larger HD or film camera when mounted horizontally (vertical axis of rotation). Or at least that's the info I've got before. Prices are high, single distributor...

oops, I guess I should have looked at the photos, I saw the demo with the canon and thought it was lighter weight unit.

I think it would be able to handle a HDX or F900 if it can handle a Red with Prime. This might be a good match for Scarlet or even Epic

Our own Mark Thorpe worked with the designer of this moco system on a recent, remote shoot and said the system was awesome. Definitely looks like a great deal.

the price is $8490.00
