Just an observation, as I've come from working at Avid, Sky and other senior roles in TV, Film and Broadcast technology and thought looking at the storage solutions for such a powerful system, I feel they are rather silly to say the least.

Proper TB disk arrays, and microwave transmission pack to storage array like as used in Sports, etc. Or just hi-bandwidth TCP/IP networking out so can easily hook-up to a SAN or NAS, Disk array system.

Soz if peeps mentioned before, I'm also returning to work after looking after my children and want to move into production (actually making the images), so if anyone can help with this too it would be great.

Sammi, clarify this a little bit. Are you referring to current storage systems that Red One uses, the ones they will be using with DSMC (which could change, as everything is subject to change), or is this referring to something else?
