  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Anyone figure out this error?

Error Message:

"File video dimensions (width/height) too large."

I had loaded several files in with no problem. Came back to it later and tried to add more then received the error message.

Restarted Premiere- same error.
Restarted Computer- same error.
Shutdown Computer- same error.

Also, following the error- when I quit PP all windows close, but the main bar does not. The programs hangs until I force quit it.

Premiere Pro CS4 4.0.1
Running OSX 10.5.5 with octo-core 3.2 ghz, 16 GB ram - 4TB space
Camera is on Build 17- most shots are 25fps/4k rez

Ok, I figured out if I select one .R3D file at a time I don't get that problem, but if I select a folder with all the proxies and .R3D file I get the error. Weird because it was never an issue before.

(And of course, this is a shoot with 300 folders...)

thats the exact error I keep getting every-time. It may be working for you but its still not resolved. I already contacted adobe about this very issue. no reply

yeah- it,s annoying. I just open bridge and drag in one .r3d at a time.
pain in arse, but gets the job done.
i am very thankful to have this program, but...

i think many are ready for an update with the adobe workflow.
i'd really like a "red room" in AE-- or a way to go from PP to Color.
