Two weeks ago we flew over to Paris, France to shoot a run and gun style music video for an artist named Erin McCarley (Universal Republic). We were equiped with our Red Camera, batteries, 3 lenses (Ziess Superspeed 18, 50, 85), and a ring light and the video below is what we did.

QUICKTIME POSTED: http://iendeavormedia.com/videos/erin.html

We had myself and Steve from Endeavor Media producing and directing and then we brought along Curtis Abbott, DIT/AC extraordinaire, and Stephen Hunter our DP.

We will definitely post a quicktime version when we get permission to do so. We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback. A few stills from the HD version are attached below.

wow very nice. who did your color correct, its very LOMO photography feeling.

we did the color. wanted to give a lomo feel with reference to the beginning credits of Amelie in mind also.

thanks!

copyrights restrict me from viewing the video over here in AUS, but the images look beautiful.

Google it, there's a crap compressed version available (called "new version", not the one with Jennyfer Aniston)...

Endeavor, please upload a QT on your website!

I will when i get permission. I think they have an official premiere in the US tomorrow and then soon after i can post the QT

thanks!

Yep, loved the lomo feel. Beautiful night stuff. The edit worked well, good momentum.

So you only had a ring light?? That's impressive. How many watts?

The only stuff I didn't like was the more blue color palate daytime outdoor footage. The grade seemed flat on this stuff. I realize you were shooting for a lomo feel but I think these sections clashed tonally too much with the rest of the video.

Was this guerilla? I've heard the police in Paris are pretty strict.

Keep up the good work!

Yes guerrilla style - Shooting in Paris was super easy. Police walked past us several times without stopping.

The Paris film office said for a crew under 10 people, you do not need a permit to shoot on the Parisian streets - so we didnt bother and had no issues arise at all.

Loved it. Looked beautiful. I want to buy the album--great song.

thanks so much!

and the album is great - i highly recommend it!
